The Friends of the Library semi-annual Book Sale will be taking place on Sept. 30th from 10am-2pm. We will have a huge selection of books to choose from. All proceeds will go towards supporting the Homedale Public Library.
September is “Get a library card” month. We are celebrating by offering FREE library cards to all non-residents of Homedale. Come in and get your library card today!!
Don’t forget that Teens and Tweens is starting back up on September 5th!! We will start off the year playing some outdoor water games! We have some great activities planned all month long! Come and join us at 5 pm each Thursday!
Every 2nd Saturday, the Homedale Public Library shows a free movie for all to enjoy.

The movie starts at 5 pm on June 10th. Seating is limited, so come a little early to get your spot!
Come join us for summer reading and summer fun, starting June 1st! We will be having free lunch at 11:45 am, followed by listening to a story, then we will have lots of fun games and crafts. Each child can also earn “library bucks” to spend at our library “store” each week. And we will have lots of raffle prizes that kids can win weekly! If you have kids between the ages of 4-12, and want to encourage them to keep reading over the summer – this is a great tool! Come in and sign up today! The kids do not need to be here every single week to participate. Come when you can! The last summer reading will be July 13th.
Solid Finances is series of free financial education webinars. These webinars will be shown at the Homedale Public Library. The webinars are designed to empower you to take control of your finances by improving your knowledge of personal finance topics.
This year’s topics will range from Credit and Credit Worthiness, Kids and Money, Health and Finances, Retirement and Financial Awareness, and Montana and Idaho Specific Sessions. Please check the Events Calendar for upcoming sessions. The sessions will be taught by faculty from the University of Idaho, North Dakota State University, and Montana State University.
Teens and Tweens will be starting on Sep 9th. We will be playing water volleyball. Come join us for lots of fun and be prepared to get wet!!
Summer Reading
For ages 4-12 every Friday in June at 1 pm!! Come in for a free sack lunch, listen to a story, and do a fun activity! You can also put your name in to win free passes to the Nampa Rec Center, Roaring Springs, and the Homedale swimming pool! And every hour that you read in June will earn you library “bucks” that can be spent at our library “store” on June 24th. We will lots of fum items to buy! Come in and sign up today!!
