The Gypsy Jackson Memorial Library is working towards becoming a district library. A district library would enable anyone in the school district to get a library card without paying a fee. It would give the library a larger tax base to work from so that we would have the needed finances to be open longer, provide more services, hire more staff, offer more free classes, and provide more books, dvds, computers, etc. If you have not been in to the new library at 121 W. Owyhee Ave, come in and see it. While you are here feel free to ask questions, look around, and see what we have to offer. We also appreciate any feedback on what you would like to see the library offer if we become a district library.
The library will be closed Aug 3rd – Aug 15th. R&S Construction will be fixing the roof of the library, as it has developed some leaks. We apologize for the inconvenience! Books can still be dropped off in the white book drop while we are closed. Story Time and other activities will resume on Aug. 17th.
